The experience offered is based on the SQ 2 processor with ARM architecture that the Redmond group designed in collaboration with Qualcomm in order to ensure advanced performance and better consumption management, thus reaching 15 hours of autonomy declared with a single recharging the internal battery in dimensions equal to 287x208x7.3 mm and with a weight that is 774 grams.At the level of technical specifications, the 13-inch PixelSense display with touchscreen panel and 2880 × 1920 resolution (267 ppi, 3: 2 ratio), Adreno 690 GPU, 8 G B or 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128, 256 or 512GB removable SSD for storage, 5 megapixel front camera with Windows Hello biometric authentication support, 10 mexapixel rear camera with autofocus and video recording 4K, far-field dual studio microphones, 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support, WiFi 5 module, 4G-LTE (Snapdragon X24), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, two ports USB-C, Surface Connect slot and for the connection of the Surface Keyboard and nano SIM card input.
On the software side there is the Windows 10 on ARM operating system with upcoming support for emulation of x64 applications.
The new Surface Pro X is available for purchase on the Microsoft Store and at authorized resellers with prices from 1,749 euros. To transform the tablet into a laptop it is possible to combine the Signature Keyboard offered in the Platinum, Ice Blue and Poppy colors, to be bought in bundle with the Surface Slim Pen for € 299.99.
Debut today in Italy also the Surface Earbuds in Graphite color (219.99 euros), while for the Surface Laptop Go (from 649 euros) it will be necessary to wait until November 12.
