Resident Evil Infinite Darkness - manga coming soon
During the panel held on Friday at the New York Comic-Con Metaverse, Tokyopop announced that a manga, a single volume, is in the works which will accompany the release of Resident Evil Infinite Darkness or the CGI series that will be released on Netflix in 2021. br>
For the moment no details have been given on the manga but only that it will have as protagonists Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.

Resident Evil Infinite Darkness

Resident Evil Infinite Darkness will have as protagonists Claire Redfiled and Leon Kennedy, already protagonists of the second videogame chapter, and will be produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi while the animations in computer graphics will be made by Quebico, the same studio that made the CGI film Resident Evil: Vendetta.

For the moment, no mention of the plot or where the continuity will be placed Resident Evil - Infinite Darkness.

Recall that the famous videogame franchise inspired not only a questionable film series but also a trilogy of animated films consisting of Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008), Resident Evil: Damnation (2012) and Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) ).

Resident Evil - the TV series and the reboot film

A live TV series is also in development for Netflix which will feature Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) as showrunner. A total of 8 60-minute episodes are planned and the first two have been called by a zombie expert or director Bronwen Hughes who worked on The Walking Dead.

According to the first interesting details, the series will in fact unfold on two timelines. The first will have as protagonists the sisters Jade and Billie Wesker, while the second will be set ten years in the future. This second timeline will be nothing short of apocalyptic: in fact, less than fifteen million people have survived on Earth while the population of monsters, or humans and animals infected by the T virus, is more than 6 billion!

In this second timeline Jade is now in her thirties and struggles to survive in this New World, while the secrets of her past, about her sister and her father and herself, continue to haunt her.

A few days ago, the cast of the reboot Resident Evil film being developed for Constatin Film with Johannes Roberts (47 Meters) directing was made official. In addition to the cast, it was underlined that the film will be a more faithful adaptation of the beloved videogame franchise so much so that it will be set in 1998 in Racoon City.

Roberts has stated that with this film he wants to go back to the origins, to the first two videogame chapters and recreate their visceral horror experience that he himself felt playing them at the time. The film will still have a realistic approach with more space to the background consisting of Racoon City, a small and decadent American provincial town.

Robbie Amell Amell and Neal McDonough have also appeared in the Arrowverse in Arrow, The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, McDonough himself, in addition to Hannah John-Kamen, was part the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Kaya Scodelario also appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Tom Hopper also appeared in the great Black Sails
