In the picture the president is accompanied by the commissioners Laura Aria, Antonello Giacomelli, Elisa Giomi and Enrico Mandelli. The declaration of law has arrived for all of the non-existence of situations of incompatibility, a fundamental requirement for the official establishment of the Council.
The new AGCOM has taken office
The role of this Authority has become increasingly important over the years both for a shift in the center of gravity of responsibilities towards the Authority itself, and for a growing exposure to extremely hot issues of everyday life. The new President stressed on the occasion that "this council has before it great responsibilities and great challenges, first of all that of accompanying and directing, for its part, the transformation of Italian society into what has been defined as a mature company information. A need made even more urgent by the pandemic, which has produced the extraordinary acceleration of all issues related to digitization, from the development and efficiency of networks, to the use of platforms for agile work, education, entertainment " .Sharing method, rigor and transparency in decisions: these are the ingredients with which the Council explains that it wants to mark its own path in AGCOM, finally establishing Europe as a point of reference and essential dialogue.
