Berserk Chapter 362 - the manga and anime in Italy

Berserk is serialized in Japan by Hakusensha in Young Animal magazine since 1989 while Italy is published by Planet Manga. The first Italian edition dates back to August 1996 and subsequently several reprints have been published bearing the name of Berserk Collection, Maximum Berserk and Berserk Collection Serie Nera.

A total of 40 volumes have been published, all also available in Italy again thanks to Planet Manga. The success of the manga led to the creation, in 1997, of a first anime television series, of a trilogy of films between 2012 and 2013, whose project is called Berserk - The golden age, and of a second series television in 2016, followed by a second season in 2017, as well as several video games.

Currently, the 1997 anime series is aired on the satellite channel Man-Ga in a remastered version.

The story of Berserk centers on Gatsu, a cursed warrior forced to roam relentlessly to survive and find revenge. The story, initially horror but gradually enriched with elements of the fantasy genre, explores the deepest recesses of human nature. The main themes are the illusory of free will, the dark and necessary power of violence, the destiny of man, the instinct for self-preservation, the omnipresence of evil. Both the anime and the manga are known for their raw violence.

The studio of sensei Miura launched the Dhuranki manga on September 9, 2019 on the inaugural issue of the new seinen manga magazine Young Animal Zero by Hakusensha. Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is always available for PlayStation 4!
