Eve V, here is the final look of the new version of the 2-in-1 convertible
Eve, the manufacturer of the 2-in-1 convertible successfully funded through an IndieGoGo campaign in 2017, Eve V, unveiled photos of the latest version of the device, which will have the same name.

The device will be equipped of a 13.4 ”display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and FHD + resolution (1900 × 1200 pixels) for the entry-level model, with the possibility of choosing a 4K UHD + display (3840 × 2400 pixels). The company has promised HDR support, with better brightness and contrast, thanks to panels made by Sharp.

This year's model also changes the port selection. While the Eve team expected to use ports similar to the original Eve V, including USB Type-A, community ratings revealed that people were willing to trade it for a USB Type-C if that meant having smaller bezels. . So the new design offers two Thunderbolt 4 ports on one side of the device and a standard USB Type-C port on the other side. The microSD card slot will also be employed for the SIM card, and fortunately, the headphone jack will be retained.

An initial concept showed four USB Type-C ports, so clearly some changes have been made at the stage design, including those to the speakers, which are now facing the front, rather than the rear. Eve says she is still working on drivers and firmware to update the sound component.

As Eve previously said, the new Eve V will use 11th Generation Intel Core Tiger Lake processors. Unlike the original, which used Y series CPUs, this tablet will use active cooling, as it uses UP3 chips (formerly U series) with the ability to turn off the fan for complete silence.

However, the company has not specified what the final specifications will be. We don't know which Tiger Lake CPUs will be used for the device, nor how much RAM or storage will be included. Eve CEO Konstantinos Karatsevidis said these questions will be presented to her community over the next few weeks. It also plans to announce pricing and preorder details next month, with launch scheduled for late November or early December.
