Windows 10 Patch Tuesday in August 2020 fixes 120 vulnerabilities: the details
Patch Tuesday of August 2020 is now available on Windows 10: your PC will probably have already started the download. Nothing unusual, on the contrary: this is precisely the period of the month in which Microsoft releases the update in question. It is therefore worth examining it in more detail.

In particular, Patch Tuesday in August 2020 fixed 120 vulnerabilities on Windows 10, spanning 13 different products (Edge, Windows, SQL Server, .NET Framework, only to name a few). 17 of these 120 problems consisted of critical bugs, and some problems had previously been exploited by hackers without Microsoft being able to do anything about them.

Kaspersky had long reported, for example, the so-called bug CVE-2020-1380 , which allowed hackers to exploit an Internet Explorer security flaw to create problems for users' Windows 10 PCs; is one of the many problems resolved by the Patch Tuesday of August 2020 of Windows 10.

We advise you to download the patch in question as soon as possible, via Windows Update; should particular problems emerge (as with the well-known update of May 2020) we will come back to update you as soon as possible.
