NeuraLink: Musk's proof and ambitions

Elon Musk's ability is to consider possible the feats that others decrypt into science fiction: so Tesla, so SpaceX, so NeuraLink. To show what could be done with the human brain, Musk used a pig with an 8mm chip implanted in the brain: the goal was to make people understand how close NeuraLink's goals can be to a breakthrough and how much the group intends to to continue on one's own path.

The experiment on the pig Gertrude has shown that impulses can first of all be read and understood, waiting for them to be produced and received by the brain tissue. At that point the connection will be active and it will be possible to engage in a new and further discourse: the "software" analysis thanks to the progress that the new "hardware" has allowed. Successful experiment: after some initial indecision, the stimuli became "visible" to those present and it was clear how NeuraLink has reached a new stage in its evolutionary process.



The bar is raised , the ambitions take shape and the project is ready to open up to new elaborations.
