Time travel: how to change the past to save the future
The arrival in cinemas of Tenet, Nolan's new film, inevitably rekindled the passion for one of the cornerstones of science fiction: time travel. Whether they are literary, comics or cinematic, time travel has become one of the most cherished themes of anticipation fiction, also being used not only as a focus of the story, but also as a tool to give life to adventures that go beyond the context of science fiction. All this, in the span of a century of ideas and variations of the theme that have tickled the curiosity of enthusiasts, while science continues to question itself on this exciting possibility. But luckily for us, if we can't really travel in time, we can console ourselves with the adventures that resulted from that first lever lowered in 1895 in H.G. Wells.

Or at least, the collective imagination finds in this work the starting point of a narrative vein. Without detracting from Wells' genius, the theme at the center of his novel had already been in vogue for some time.
