Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, review

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, review
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a collaborative board game created by the prolific minds of Awaken Realms (house already known for example for Nemesis), localized and distributed in Italy by Giochi Uniti. In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon players, 1 to 4, will play the role of highly skilled people who, despite their shortcomings, will be called upon to save the world they live in.

After the failure of the greatest heroes of Avalon, they will in fact take over the fate of the mythical island to put an end to the Anomaly, a dark and mysterious curse that appeared out of nowhere, which is consuming everything.

As di usual, before moving on to the analysis of the game, let's take a look at its components. In this regard, we would like to point out that the evaluation will concern both the basic box and its Monsters of Avalon expansion, dedicated to the miniatures of the game.

Tainted Grail: the basic box

The basic box presents itself medium-sized and with a weight definitely above the average being around seven kg of material! The presentation image is decidedly evocative and, as we will discover later, introduces some of the core elements of the game. Opening the box we initially find all the paper component of the product. First we have the rules: 24 pages sets out the rules of the game quite clearly. Net of a few minor typos (which, overall, does not affect the quality of the volume in any way), it allows you to embark on an adventure quite easily.
