Windows 10 KB4566782: a disaster, BSOD on Lenovo
Summer slip for Microsoft that with Patch Tuesday in August, released in the first half of the month, triggered a series of problems that are now reported by a considerable number of users. The bugs in the KB4566782 update seem to mainly affect owners of a computer from the Lenovo ThinkPad line, more specifically the 2019 and 2020 models.

W10: problems with Patch Tuesday in August The Chinese manufacturer intervened with the publication of a support document in which explicit reference is made to the Blue Screen of Death and other hitches such as the inability to take advantage of the biometric authentication of Windows Hello or related to device management. A temporary workaround is offered which consists in deactivating the "Enhanced Windows Biometric Security" option within the BIOS.

There is very little to do for</a> those who use machines of a different brand after installing the update faces the same problem or crashes and slowdowns. At the moment it is not known how widespread the problems are nor if the Redmond group has taken charge of them to remedy them.
