(Photo: news.xbox.com) After long months of waiting and tests carried out on the preview, Microsoft announced on the Xbox Wire blog the release date of the new game streamin g technology in Italy and 21 other countries: September 15th, marked on the agenda, but - for the moment - only if you have an Android device.

Initially known as Project xCloud and now renamed Cloud Game, it is the service that will allow you to play Xbox console games from smartphones and tablets at any time and place. From Minecraft Dungeons to Tell Me Why, from Gears 5 to Destiny 2, Microsoft will immediately grant access to a vast library of over 100 high quality titles available in streaming, although the launch in beta with the aim of obtaining further comments and feedback to improve the service. In addition, all player profile data will also be available on mobile, including the list of friends, goals achieved, progress and controller settings.

Cloud game (beta) will only be available to subscribers on the Xbox Pass Ultimate plan - which can be purchased for € 12.99 a month - who own a smartphone or tablet equipped with Android 6 (or newer version) and a wireless controller for Xbox (but also another supported model). Although it is possible to play on the Cloud via a 4G LTE cellular network, for better performance it is recommended to use a stable and fast connection, preferably wi-fi.
