My TEAM across generations
Before talking about the new features of this quest year, I would like to address an important aspect of MY TEAM and the transition to the new generations of PlayStation and Xbox.
I have good news for those who will start their NBA 2K21 adventure with My TEAM on September 4th, on PS4 / Xbox One. I confirm that your collection AND your progress will be carried over to the next generation version when you start playing it. This means that you will have access to found and earned cards (and associated evolution progress), your progress in Domination, Triple Threat, and other modes, and your VC balance, MyTEAM points and Tokens. You will not lose anything! Just remember that this will only work between platforms of the same family and on the same account. Specifically, the transition from PS4 to PS5 works. Switching from Xbox One to Xbox Series X also works. It also works from PS5 to PS4 and Xbox Series X to Xbox One. Moving from PS4 to Xbox Series X and from Xbox One to PS5, however, is not possible. It also doesn't work to have the game on a PS4 or Xbox One account and use a different account for PS5 and Xbox Series X. It's very simple.
Your entire MyTEAM collection and NBA 2K21 progress will be carried over from PS4 to PS5 and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, so you can enjoy MyTEAM all year round, without interruption!
