Enola Holmes: Netflix publishes the teaser trailer
Netflix has finally released the first teaser trailer for its next film: Enola Holmes. The film is based on the book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer.
The six volumes published between 2006 and 2010, the first among which "The Mystery of the Missing Marquis", focus on the adventures of 14-year-old sister of detective Sherlock Holmes. Enola Holmes will feature Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. The young actress, just fifteen, will also be producing the film, through her company PCMA Productions. The cast of the film will also include Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, while Sam Claflin will play the role of Mycroft Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter will instead play the mother of three, Eudoria.
The film adaptation and the The screenplay was written by Jack Thorne, whose successes include the likes of Harry Potter and the Curse of the Heir, for which he won a Tony Award, and The Aeronauts, while the director is Harry Bradbeer, Emmy winner for Comic series Fleabag. The teaser trailer is nothing more than a tiny look at Millie Bobby Brown's performance, and not even the exact date is revealed within the movie when we will be able to see the series on Netflix.
