New references to the new game of the COD saga continue to appear on the net, which according to previous rumors should be called Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. It therefore seems that after Modern Warfare, fans of the FPS series are about to return to explore the war from the perspective of the Black Ops saga with a sort of new reboot. Now, the new clue unearthed on the web leads to a particular and mysterious site.

Just last week, Activision sent a mysterious case presumably linked to the next Call of Duty to various newsrooms and influencers, asking them to open it no earlier than 10 August. The date has passed for a day now and several people, such as youtuber NoahJ456, opened the box and managed to decipher what was the included ARG (alternative reality game). The result led to what is a mysterious site.

The hidden website is called pawntakespawn and comes with a variety of old equipment such as a CRT CRT TV, VCR, and what looks like a old IBM PC. If you watch the VCR long enough, a time will appear first showing “12:00” and then the date “08-14”. This latest information from the new mysterious site seems to reveal to us that on August 14th at 12:00 we will see the announcement of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War?
