Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Zombie mode, new details emerge

Over time, the Zombie mode within the Call of Duty franchise has become one of the most popular game types by fans of the Activision FPS series. It must be said, however, that with the return of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, the very mode with the undead protagonists has ceased; with Infinity Ward who preferred not to include it in the most recent COD package released on the market.

According to Aaron Beck, a former artist who worked right inside Infinity Ward, Zombie mode was on the studio floors American also for Call of Duty Modern Warfare, but it never materialized. The artist has shown him published three concept images on his Instagram profile, showing the public what at least should have been the mood of the Zombie mode that should have come to life within the new Modern Warfare.

As stated by Beck on his social profile, the Zombie mode within Call of Duty Modern Warfare has existed in the concept phase since the early days timing of game development. From the photos shown, it is possible to see how some of the undead soldiers would have been joined by some robot walkers. It would certainly have been interesting to understand how all this would be tied to the classic gameplay of the mode; who knows if in the future any idea discarded at this juncture will find room for the return of this appreciated mode.

It therefore seems that Infinity Ward and Activision have decided not to materialize the Zombie mode even in Modern Warfare, letting a title come out decidedly more realistic based on a campaign and a rich online multiplayer section.
