Star Renegades | Review, violence among the stars
Rogue-like and RPG are a combination that has proven to be successful several times both in theory and in practice, especially when looking at the independent world. Paradoxically, it is also one of those genres where the artistic emerges more, perhaps due to the particular ways in which the narrative universe is set up or due to the possibility of working on multiple characters with completely different facets. Masterpieces like Darkest Dungeon or a more recent Slay the Spire come to mind, the declinations are so many and hardly ever get tired, especially because every time there seems to be a completely new idea on the horizon.

Star Renegades è one of these brilliant ideas, mixed with care and proposed to us as bread to eat for hours and hours and hours. A dimensional adventure where death is just around the corner, but not in the cruel and playful sense of the term, rather in a purely narrative one and not looking for the player's frustration. Like every member of this particular genre, Star Renegades inherits a series of great insights from its roots, brilliantly managing to build a spirit of its own. And, to date, it is no small feat!
