Huawei Connect 2020, the main announcements
During the days of Huawei Connect 2020, the company released a series of really interesting news for developers, technicians, IT and IT departments. Let's start with the ModelArts 3.0 enablement platform, to continue with a series of development suites intended for a community currently of about 1.8 million people.

ModelArts 3.0 is supported by Huawei's years of research in the field of '' artificial intelligence, communication, semantics and decision-making optimization, as well as extensive know-how acquired from over 600 AI projects. ModelArts 3.0 integrates models of backbone, learning, intelligent evaluation, intelligent diagnostics and efficient processing, accelerating the introduction of AI into production systems for greater value creation.

Artificial intelligence and prevention

During Huawei Connect, Zhu Qiuguo, founder and CEO of DeepRobotics, presented a project that used ModelArts and Atlas 200DK to train a quadrupedal robot called “Jueying”. This is the ideal choice for factory inspection: Powered by graphical interactive analysis of knowledge, learning by reinforcement, dynamic decision making and a device-cloud synergy, the robot can analyze the environment on site in real time, intelligently plan routes and take appropriate action to protect industrial parks.

ModelArts also assists institutes in scientific brain research. During the same summit, Du Xufei, Director of Mesoconnectome Research Facility, Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology, an affiliate of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), talked about how ModelArts was used to map the entire set of neurons and synaptic connections in the brain of the larval zebrafish, so that its intelligence can be better understood. ModelArts can automatically track and reconstruct neurons with up to 95% accuracy and recall rate. Theoretically, with ModelArts' ultra-large clusters and large-scale distributed training, the total time required for rebuilding can be reduced from 125 years to just 10 days.

To further innovate and open your hardware , Huawei introduces Kunpeng 2.0 a base card with expansion card and BIOS / BMC, which aims to help partners innovate and respond to the changing differentiated requirements of their business. diversified computing with maximum performance, increased security and reliability, and an open ecosystem. Another software product, openGauss 1.0, is an enterprise-grade database with a kernel that offers high performance, reliability, and security. It is an option designed for partners who want to enhance enterprise-grade functionality by constantly promoting the commercial use of databases.

Enable for development

To strengthen application enablement, Huawei also unveiled Kunpeng BoostKit, an application enablement kit that provides high-performance open source components, acceleration software packages and tools for reference implementation in traditional scenarios. Kunpeng DevKit instead supports full pipeline development, from code scanning and porting to compilation and performance optimization.

Ascend AI is instead a full-stack AI solution that boasts simplified development and maximum performance. This solution enables artificial intelligence developers to address the challenges that arise during algorithm development, application development and service delivery. After dedicating itself to Atlas hardware innovation, Huawei takes another step forward to launch the full-stack software platform that includes Compute Architecture for Neural Network (CANN) 3.0, MindSpore 1.0, MindStudio 2.0 and MindX 1.0.

Traditionally, application developers build all code from scratch. This means that a user must be an experienced programmer. To allow anyone to develop applications, Huawei Cloud has launched a low-code platform, called ROMA AppCube, which allows you to create applications within a modular architecture, through simple drag-and-drop tools.

After all, the key to developer success is implementation, promotion and monetization. Huawei offers two main platforms for application distribution: Huawei Cloud Marketplace and Huawei AppGallery. The Huawei Cloud HMS Ecosystem Support program supports 1,500 applications with cloud resources, each, once ready for commercial launch, is already eligible for advertising resources.

The role in FinTech

A Connect 2020, Sunline and Huawei jointly released Digital Loan One Box, a global contactless solution for financial services. This solution will be implemented in countries and regions, such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa, where financial inclusion is urgently needed. Digital Loan One Box adopts an open strategy, which allows financial institutions to launch a wide range of contactless services, such as online lending product campaign, customer e-KYC, risk assessment, fund and post-loan processing.

Digital Loan One Box is based on the Huawei FusionCube hyperconverged infrastructure, which adopts the EDSP framework of enterprise-wide banking microservices released by Sunline in 2020. Supports rapid horizontal scaling and dynamic on both business and system needs. It also provides a DevOps continuous delivery assembly line to meet the increasingly agile development requirements of financial institutions. Contactless banking services make banking much more convenient, while remaining user-friendly, timely and professional, leading to better customer satisfaction and retention.

As a pioneer among Chinese FinTech providers, Sunline has established branch offices and service offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong since 2016. It has been widely recognized for its strengths in innovation, market leadership and product performance. It ranks among the top 3 banking platform providers in Asia Pacific and is also ranked in the IDC China FinTech 50 list of 2020.
