Epson has officially presented the first UV LED flat printer in the catalog, aimed at signage professionals: the SureColor SC-V7000 model. It is designed for high productivity and low running costs as well as accurate color reproduction for spot and corporate hues thanks to the Micro Piezo printhead and a set of ten newly designed inks (including, gray, red, white and lacquer) ).

It is equipped with a four-zone vacuum system as standard. Furthermore, the Edge Print RIP software provided by the company, working in conjunction with the UV Flatbed controller, speeds up the process. Print directly on substrates up to 80mm thick including acrylics, polycarbonates, PVC, glass, aluminum, metal, polyester, polyplat, styrene, wood and stone with dimensions up to 2.5 × 1.25 meters. Every feature of the SC-V7000 has been designed with the customer in mind: we have added exclusive Epson features to differentiate and improve our offering for the signage market. Marking Epson's entry into the UV flatbed printing market for signage, this model is robust, affordable, and prints at high speed and quality on a wide range of media.

SureColor SC-V7000 will be available in Italy from November. Below is a summary of the main features:

newly developed 10-color ink set with light cyan, light magenta and gray for low graininess and red for vivid and vibrant prints; simultaneous printing at high speed even when using white, color and lacquer thanks to the unique head layout: maximum print size of 2.5 × 1.25 meters; 4-zone suction system; registration pins for easy and linear positioning; maximum thickness of the support equal to 80 mm with automatic height detection and adjustment; ionizer included as standard to reduce static electricity that can cause inaccuracies in the jet; supplied Epson Edge Print RIP software.
