PS5, Sony unveils Spider-Man's weight on SSD: Miles Morales and Demon's Souls
Sony recently unveiled the weight of some of the first games coming to PS5</a> since launch day, currently scheduled for November 19, 2020 in Europe. This is information to keep in mind: in fact, many worry that the system's storage memory may not be enough for all needs.

There doesn't seem to be too much to worry about, actually, to the memory occupied by games on PS5. Sony has today unveiled the weight of the installation of Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon's Souls on SSD; and all in all it could have been worse. The first will require a minimum of 50GB, the second 66GB.

The installation space required on SSD will instead increase (and by a lot) with The Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition, which will include inside also the enhanced version of Spider-Man for PS4: here you will need at least 105GB of free storage space.

To all this we must add some more general considerations about the PlayStation 5 SSD itself: as probably already you know, it will have a total capacity of 825GB and - equipped with a PCI Express 4.0 interface - will be able to transfer 5.5 GB per second. Of course, if all the next major PS5 titles require an average space of about 60GB, it will be necessary to buy an external hard drive to connect to the PlayStation 5 soon. Solution adopted by many users already in its time with PlayStation 4, after all. >
Much will also depend on how many and which titles you want to buy in the first year of the console's life: have you already taken a look at the PlayStation 5 launch lineup?
