Olivia Wilde confirms that she is working on a Sony Marvel project

The actress did not lean on the main character of the film, but interviewed by Evan Ross Katz's podcast, she revealed:
“ Look, we're seeing this incredible influx of female directors and storytellers taking over the superhero genre, the superhero space and infusing it with their perspective, so not only will I be able to tell it as a director, but I will be able to develop a story out of it. All this is an incredible thing for me “.
The director, whose first Booksmart film received critical acclaim, wants to try to do something very different from what has been done so far with the Marvel and Sony cinecomics. She then added:
“I am honored to be among this wave of women that is showing up. I can only say that we will not only step in and try to tell these new stories, but we will totally reformulate them. The industry, as far as I know, is in favor of this. There is an epochal change, and it is because of these decades of pioneering that have required it again and again and again, and it is finally over, and I am very lucky to be part of it ".
