MediaTek announces Helio G95: new processor that looks to gaming
MediaTek has announced the new Helio G95 smartphone processor, a mobile platform designed for mid-range devices with a particular eye on gaming. The newcomer represents an evolution of the Helio G90T SoC that we had the opportunity to appreciate on the Redmi Note 8 Pro, of which you can read our review here.

In reality, comparing the technical data sheets does not show great differences . The only improvement seems to relate to the Mali G76 GPU capable of running up to 900 MHz against the 800 MHz of the predecessor. MediaTek thus speaks of an 8% performance improvement. For the rest, no news. We are talking about a processor made with a 12 nm manufacturing process and includes an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.05 GHz that uses a combination of ARM Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores.

The other specifications they include the 4G LTE Cat.12 modem with 4X4 MIMO antennas and the 3X carrier aggregation technology that aggregates more frequencies for the same connection ensures greater speed. There is no shortage of HDR10 support and support for a single 64 Megapixel camera or dual camera (24 MP + 16 MP). The SoC can support triple and quadruple camera systems.

The technology called HyperEngine which aims to ensure the best performance during gaming sessions is inevitable. This is a series of features that improve the gaming experience such as the data connection that remains active when a call is received, the possibility of double Wi-Fi connection by connecting to two bands at the same time (2.4 and 5 Ghz) reducing latency 22%, switching from Wi-Fi to cellular network without signal loss and double voice recognition to interact with two virtual assistants at the same time (Alexa and Google Assistant for example).
