Deadly Premonition is back on the Xbox Store, back in stock
There have been no communications on this but it seems that the thing has stabilized , after a certain period of uncertainty: Deadly Premonition was in fact back available last month in North America, but only for a short time before being subsequently removed.
There seemed to be problems related to the management of the game due to the expired contractual relationships between the original publisher and Microsoft that had led to the total removal of the game from digital distribution a few years ago, but apparently the matter has been resolved because Deadly Premonition is back in these days available on the Xbox Store in North America, as well as on the Xbox Store in Italy and seems to have settled permanently.
The fact that the game can be played t ranquillamente on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility makes it a very interesting purchase even today on the new console and also in perspective on the Xbox Series X, since with the extended compatibility of the latter it should work without problems (perhaps even better than the original version) in the in case it hasn't been played before.
With the release of Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise, the series has made a comeback recently, although the second chapter is only available on Nintendo Switch and already has somewhat discussed for various issues related to its technical realization and not only, so it may be a good time to rediscover this strange imperfect gem of the last generation.
