Castlevania: Warren Ellis will no longer write the Netflix series?
The world of American comics is currently crossed by a series of controversies related to complaints related to alleged sexual abuse and discrimination related to sex and sexual orientation that are forcing some publishing houses to cut bridges with many authors, some of the very first plan like Warren Ellis who seems to have seen several works in the last few weeks including that of screenwriter for Castlevania, the animated series produced by Netflix.

According to THR - who has carried out an investigation into abuse and discrimination in the world from the American comic book publisher - Warren Ellis would have completed his work on the fourth season of Castlevania but if the series were to be renewed again he will not be involved in any way.

The English writer has vigorously rejected the accusations with a long post on his site but served little by losing day after day jobs and credibility both at DC - there seems to be a new maxi-series on Batman scheduled - which at Image has canceled any connection with the writer on its official channels.

Castlevania

Created by Warren Ellis based on Konami's Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse video game, Castlevania is an animated series produced by Netflix, Frederator Studios and Powerhouse Animation Studios.

The series features renegade monster hunter Trevor Belmont. When his wife Lisa is burned at the stake after being falsely accused of witchcraft, the vampire Dracula declares that all the people of Wallachia will pay with their lives. He summons an army of demons that invades the country, forcing people to live lives of fear and mistrust. To combat this, Belmont takes up arms against Dracula's forces, aided by the sorceress Sypha Belnades and Dracula's son, Alucard.

The style of Castlevania was influenced by the anime and the artwork of Ayami Kojima, who had made for the video game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
