Xbox Series X has a secret under the base: here's what it is
The end of 2020 will forever be remembered as the arrival of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the two next-generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony Interactive Entertainment. We currently know a lot about the two gaming machines, but obviously not everything. For example, we have not yet had the opportunity to see them live and examine them carefully. Slowly, however, new details emerge, such as a certain secret under the base of the Xbox Series X.

You might in fact think that the most interesting parts of the console are inside, or that, speaking precisely of the outside , all that matters is the front. The Xbox Series X base, however, has a small surprise. Until now you may have imagined that the console will rest with its entire surface on the plane of your gaming station, but this is not the case. There is in fact a rubber ring.

As shown by YouTuber Brad Sams, the lower part of the Xbox Series X has a rubber ring about 2 cm long which keeps it raised and thus allows greater air circulation. This is a perfectly sensible choice, above all that the Microsoft console has very small dimensions.

The various components of the gaming machine are embedded inside like a perfect puzzle: high quality ventilation is fundamental for prevent the whole system from overheating. PS5 has instead opted for a different route, with a particular shape and generous dimensions. Unfortunately for now Sony has not given too many details on the internal structure of its console.

The secret of the Xbox Series X has therefore been revealed, but we believe it is just one of many. It will also probably be stupid games: the event dedicated to the first party titles will arrive this month, according to rumors on July 23. Tell us, what are you most excited about? For the console itself and for exclusive games?
