Google DGP, corporate training in publishing
As part of the Google News Initiative, the Mountain View group today announces the debut of the Digital Growth Program. It is a corporate training program specifically intended for the publishing sector and more specifically for small and medium-sized companies.

Digital Growth Program: training for publishers A project born with the specific objective of supporting the sector which, as a consequence of the health and economic crisis of the last period, has been forced to face unprecedented challenges. It will initially be available in some European countries, including Italy (as well as in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland and France), to then extend its range of action to other territories around the world within the next few months. The aim is to help publishers to consolidate and grow their online business, especially those who have just started the development of digital platforms.

We made it based on the experience gained over the years thanks to the support provided to the world of information with the Google News Initiative, for example with the recent emergency fund for over 5,300 local newsrooms, and with the five months of suspension of commissions on Ad Manager to help publishers during the pandemic.

The Digital Growth Programme was also created on the basis of the feedback and suggestions provided to Google by experts offering seminars on the fundamentals of business strategy, with the involvement of the public, and the monetization strategies. Focusing the attention on the old continent, bigG has worked with FT Strategies, and Table-Stakes in Europe in the WAN-IFRA so that we can provide the workshops in-depth, moments of intensive training and mentoring activities.

To subscribe to one of the appointments or require the organisation of a workshop is sufficient to make a reference to what is reported on the pages of the official site .
