Blood Lilyum: the comic board game

Blood Lilyum: the comic board game
Blood Lilyum: from Giochi Uniti comes a board game that brings together comics and board game, to be released on September 23.

Already with some products, such as Deadland and Omegha, some products have already arrived from the house of Giochi Uniti board games including a comic inside them inherent to the game itself, useful to introduce players to the setting in which the facts take place. This time, with the announcement of the release of Blood Lilyum, the proposal seems to expand with the inclusion of a real graphic novel.

The universe of comics and that of board games therefore come together in Blood Lilyum, which in addition to the game components will be combined with a graphic novel, which will tell the genesis of the facts and will therefore provide the players with a background. The graphic novel is illustrated by the artist Enzo Troiano (who had already signed Omegha's drawings), with a setting created by Raffaele Simonelli.

The graphic novel of Blood Lilyum tells of the clash between four families in the land of Lilya: Madusyan, Misaryan, Glesya and Margrande, who take advantage of the strong instability left by the last war to conquer the throne and power. The game can therefore comprise from two to four players, for an average duration of about thirty minutes, in which the contenders will be asked to build their own kingdom.

The players will have a board, decks of cards at their disposal. of the four houses and a series of tokens; the purpose of Blood Lilyum is to erect its own kingdom by trying to give order to the political instability of Lilya's world, by drawing cards from the decks of the houses or by calling them from the hands of the opponents. The kingdom must therefore be built through specific characters: a king, a queen, two nobles, two guards, a castellan and three commoners.
