Zack Snyder's reaction to The Batman trailer

Zack Snyder's reaction to The Batman trailer
Last Saturday, during the DC FanDome, there was a long-distance exchange of compliments between Zack Snyder and Matt Reeves. The latter during the panel dedicated to The Batman praised the vision of Snyder and his Justice League Snyder Cut as well as Ben Affleck's Batman while the first a few hours later wanted to express all his enthusiasm for the first trailer of the new dedicated film to the Dark Knight.

Zack Snyder said:

I don't know what rating the film will have but that's exactly what I want, I mean Batman beating the hooligan. I said slut… Then I immediately texted Matt Reeves after seeing the trailer and I wrote him “What the f…! Is fantastic". I loved it, I think it's really great. And I think the film is moving in the right direction. As a fan that's exactly what I'd like to see… double-thumbs up for me. For me it is a yes!

Speaking of The Batman, Matt Reeves confirmed that while the events of the film take place in the second year of Bruce Wayne's activity in the as Batman, played as we all know by Robert Pattinson, the TV series, still without a title, will take place during Batman's first year of activity.

The protagonist of the series will be a cop who comes from a family that for generations has produced cops for Gotham City. The director stressed that also for the TV series the common thread, thematically speaking, will be corruption and therefore we will see how the Police Department will experience the arrival of a vigilante in the city. It has not been specified whether the main policeman will align with Batman or will be forced to escape from them.

Reeves then explained how corruption in Gotham is a worm that afflicts the whole system and for this reason the common people will welcome the deeds of Batman in an ambivalent way.
