[Update] The first ecological packaging of the PS4 illustrated by iam8bit (Untitled Goose Game)
It is through a Twitter thread that the iam8bit studio took the time to detail the "very first official ecological packaging of a PS4 game" with the Lovely Edition of Untitled Goose Game.

L he iam8bit team explains that they studied the project over the last year to design the most environmentally friendly box possible, before getting the green light from Sony. Plastic is abandoned here to make way for fully recycled materials including 20-pt thick paper free of toxic inks. Another clarification, the paper used would come from "the most eco-responsible forests."

The production company also promises that the game will easily adapt to the rest of your collection and that it has successfully completed the "compression test". An "important first step towards eliminating the use of environmentally harmful materials" in the design of game boxes.

As a reminder, the Lovely Edition of Untitled Goose Game will contain a Plaza Catalog with important game objects, a 28x43 cm poster of the village map and a "No Goose" sticker. It will go on sale on the official website of Just for Games from September 29th at a price of € 34.99 on Nintendo Switch and € 29.99 on PlayStation 4.
