SSD: have you run out of space? Here is a 100TB one that costs just $ 40,000
Nimbus Data has launched a very special PC SSD. It's called ExaDrive DC100 and, as the name suggests, it offers 100 TB of data storage space. Too bad the price is "only" $ 40,000.

Just the price was the last feature of the product to be revealed. Two years ago, when the ExaDrive DC100 was unveiled, Nimbus Data made no mention of what it would cost. Who knows why. If you think about it, it is 40 cents of a dollar per nominal gigabyte, (actually usable ones will be less, probably about 93 terabytes). Not a little, considering the prices of the SSDs on the market.

It's easy to understand that a similar product is not designed for the home market, but for the professional one. Especially for those jobs that require moving large amounts of data.

However both Nimbus Data has also presented a cheaper model of ultra-large SSD that contains only 50 TB of data for $ 12,500. Now that you think. Both models are 3.5 inches thick and use a 6Gbps SATA interface, which makes them difficult to use in home computers.
