The business of large OLEDs is LG Display's essential growth engine for the future. Thanks to the start of mass production at the new OLED plant in Ghangzhou, and the production capacity of our factory in Paju, we will be able to accelerate the growth in turnover related to large OLED panels, both in terms of quality than quantity. This will allow for faster adoption of OLED displays among end customers. As a leader in the OLED market, LG Display will further strengthen its position by making constant efforts to develop differentiated products, thereby widening the technological gap between the company and the other players in the sector.

because of the pandemic of COVID-19 and the consequent change in demand, the opening of the plant has suffered several delays and the company has come to send 900 engineers by charter flights to Guangzhou from march this year, for the fastest possible operations. The system's OLED Guangzhou will be used primarily for the production of panels from 48”, 55”, 65” and 77” . The production capacity may be increased by up to 90,000 display the month, depending on the demand of the market.

LG Display will be able to offer more than 10 million panels OLED TV from 55” each year while maximizing the capacity of the plants in Paju and Guangzhou. You expect a result more profits through the use of economies of scale.
