Intel expands its line of Celeron processors
Intel has not yet officially announced new Celeron series CPUs based on the 10th generation Comet Lake-S architecture, but recently the Celeron G5925 (BX80701G5925) and G5905 (BX80701G5905) models have been spotted (by @momomo_us) in the LambdaTek reseller.

Credit: LambdaTek Celeron G5925 and G5905 are built with the Intel 14nm production process and can be used in the latest Intel 400 series motherboards that have the LGA1200 socket. Intel Celeron processors typically have two cores without Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost and even these new CPUs don't seem to follow this rule.

However, the Celeron G5925 and G5905 offer a base clock higher than 100MHz, respectively , compared to the Celeron G5920 and G5900, but the improvements don't stop there. Intel has doubled the amount of L3 cache and both have 4MB of L3 cache as a result. Before the Celeron G5925 and G5905, only Pentium models had 4MB of L3 cache. The other specifications of Celeron G5925 and G5905 are the same as any other Celeron Comet Lake-S: they use the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 610 GPU, offer 16 PCIe 3.0 lines and native support for DDR4-2666 RAM.

The same shop sells the Celeron G5920 to 49,13£ (62$) and the Celeron G5900 at 40,31£ (51$), recording an increase of 4.8% compared to the Celeron G5925 and up to 15.7% on the Celeron G5905. Currently the store does not have the CPU available in the warehouse and was not given a release date of precise for the two processors. At the time, of course, we can only wait for an official statement from Intel concerning the placing of components in our country.

LambdaTek has recently included in its list, even the much-rumored Intel Core i9-10850K , replication slightly modified model of the tip Core i9-10900K that offers 10 cores, 20 threads, and 20MB of L3 cache, but with a base clock reduced to 100MHz and the lack of this feature the Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB).

If you are looking for a processor for a configuration entry level, we recommend the Intel Pentium Gold 100-100000023MPK, that you can buy on Amazon for a special price .
