Captain America: the Russo brothers on a possible return of the character to the big screen
Joe and Anthony Russo are two brother directors well known for directing several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Avengers: Endgame. During this time the two directors have taken a break from Marvel and are working on various projects such as the live-action Hercules film and the Extraction sequel for Netflix, and have just finished shooting Cherry, a film starring the star by Spider-Man, Tom Holland.

In a recent interview published in the US newspaper ComicBook (you can read the full article at this link), the Russo brothers spoke about the possibility of a further film on Captain America and the gems of Infinity. “It could be a good story to tell. I don't know if there will be a need to tell it, but we would love to do it. But I think there are other stories to deal with now, "said Joe Russo. Antony Russo, however, in the pages of Esquire at the beginning of the year said that “We worked for Marvel seven years, full time, focusing on the four films that we made. We are really proud of the work we have done and the collaboration we have had with Marvel, it has been fantastic ”.

During the quarantine, the Russo brothers started a really interesting YouTube format, called Pizza Film School, in which they shared their favorite films with their fans and all the other viewers. Among the films that the Russians have proposed weekly are Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, The House and It is not a Country for the Old. During the broadcasts, the Russo also hosted special guests such as Mark Hamill, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely writers of Avengers: Endgame, and the star who played the fearsome Thanos, Josh Brolin.
