Animal Crossing: New Horizons, still crazy numbers in the Japanese charts
Neither Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, nor Pokémon Sword / Shield, nor Mario Kart 8 Deluxe have approached the sales of the new Animal Crossing, although they are all still in the ranking. Indeed, to be honest, they are also very far away as overall sales, despite being on the market for a long time.
For the rest, the ranking does not present any big surprises. Basically it is an almost single-color Nintendo Switch, exclusive of The Last of Us 2 in fifth position. Evidently the Japanese did not let themselves be carried away by the enthusiasm for Ellie's adventures. The only novelty of the top 10, if we want to call it that, is Catherine's Nintendo Switch version: Full Body in ninth position, with only 6,917 copies sold.
The domain of Nintendo Switch is also on the hardware source evident, with PS4 which is now withering away. We will see how it will go with PS5.
