Sony unveiled the new high-end home theater range that includes the Sony HT-A9 surround system, the two HT-A7000 and HT-A5000 soundbars and the new Sony SRS-NS7 wearable speaker which, placed on the shoulders and designed to wrap the neck, guarantees a personalized spatial sound.

The system and the two soundbars, which are compatible with the advanced functions of the PS5, can be connected with a dedicated cable, included in the scope of delivery, to BRAVIA TVs equipped with Acoustic Center Sync and can therefore exploit the technology designed to ensure that voices and sounds come from the precise point on the screen where the related dialogue or action takes place.

Sony HT-A9 - 12 virtual emitters for 360-degree sound

The Sony HT-A9 home theater system, already available for 1800 euros, uses Sound Field Optimization technology to detect position of the four physical speakers, height included, in order to recreate the effect of 12 virtual emitters capable of recreating 360-degree audio.

Sony HT-A7000 - 7.1.2 channels and vertical sound

The equipment of the Sony soundbar, available from September for 1330 euros, consists of 7.1.2 channels, with two loudspeakers aimed towards the ceiling to ensure, together with the two tweeters and the five front speakers with S-Force PRO Front Surround technology that simulates the sounds coming from the sides, a sound able to envelop the viewer.

The accuracy of the vertical sound is guaranteed by the Vertical Surround Engine of HT-A7000, part of an equipment that includes the aforementioned Sound Field Optimization, designed to automatically optimize the sound based on the environmental measurements of the two microphones, and the support for Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. Sony SRS-NS7: the new wearable cinema

The Sony wearable speaker is paired with the WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter, will be available from November for 300 euros, and wraps around the neck , promising immersive and personalized sound without the need for headphones.
