It seemed like Microsoft would take an infinite amount of time before finally deciding to unveil its much-rumored second-gen next-gen console, the more compact, lower-priced Xbox Series S console. Yet when the reveal arrived a few days ago, everything happened ahead of schedule with Microsoft running for cover to respond to a leak that revealed its price and design.

Rich Leadbetter and John Linneman saw it for the first time time this hardware six months ago, when they visited Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond (Washington) for an exclusive presentation of the Xbox Series X.
