Willy, The Prince Of Bel-Air: the revival on HBO Max

Willy, The Prince Of Bel-Air also joins the revival series scheduled for release on HBO Max, the US company's streaming platform that has already scheduled another reunion of another hit series: Friends.

According to a Twitter announcement from the HBO Max account, the cast by Willy, The Prince Of Bel-Air will reunite to mark the 30th anniversary of the series premiere on 10 September. However, it won't air until Thanksgiving.

This is the official description of what the reunion will be:

“The whole Banks family will reunite for the special, including the stars Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell and Daphne Maxwell Reid. Recurring guest star (and former half of Smith's musical duo) DJ Jazzy Jeff will also be there for a fun night filled with music, dancing and surprise special guests. ”



This isn't the show's first cast reunion: In April, they were all back together for Will Smith's Snapchat series Will From Home. This two-part episode was a special tribute to the late actor James Avery, who played Phillip Banks, who passed away in 2014.

A reboot of the series, with more serious and dark tones, is also in the works, produced by Will Smith himself, who wants to be inspired by the fan made trailer of some time ago, entitled Bel-Air, which we leave you below:
