Namor by Kurt Busiek - the miniseries connected to King in Black
Marvel has announced the return of one of its original characters or Namor who will enjoy a 5-issue miniseries entitled King in Black: Namor and linked as easily understood to the King in Black event. Both the miniseries and the event will start in December in the US.

King in Black: Namor will be written by the legendary Kurt Busiek (Avengers, Marvels) and co-drawn by Ben Dewey (The Autumnlands) and Jonas Scharf (Bone Parish) while the covers will be by Leinil Francis Yu (Secret Invasion, Captain America).

The miniseries will be a real prequel because it will be set in the 1930s and will feature a Namor who is still young and not yet ruler of Atlantis. King in Black: Namor is described as very dark and will narrate the genesis of a threat never seen before and it will be up to Namor, Lady Dorma, Attuma and the Swift Riders to foil it.

For his part, Kurt Busiek is said excited to be able to contribute to King in Black, which he described as shocking, and to be able to give a new context to this threat and to Atlantis that will play a fundamental role in the event, anticipates the legendary author.

King in Black

King in Black the new cosmic event orchestrated by Donny Cates (Venom, Thor) and Ryan Stegman (Venom) which will start in December in the United States immediately after the end of another event started this week or Empyre and will be the ideal sequel to Absolute Carnage.

For now the details are very few but, as easily understood, at the center of the events of King in Black there will be Knull or the Divinity of Symbiotes - a being of pure evil intent on banishing the light that in the past created Venom's artificial homeworld, Klyntar, and the All-Black sword, important in Thor's new mythology.
