Endless Winter - the details of the new DC event
With the official announcement of the releases scheduled for December in the United States, DC has finally revealed the details of the Endless Winter event that will take place in December and surprisingly anticipated by some meager teasers a few months ago.

Endless Winter will be a 9-part event that will take place on Justice League, The Flash, Aquaman and Justice League Dark plus various special one-shots over 5 weeks. It will be written by two veterans such as Ron Marz (Silver Surfer, Green Lantern) and Andy Lanning.

In Endless Winter the Justice League will have to face Frost King, an entity linked to the Norse gods and able to manipulate the cold, who has awakened after Superman's Fortress of Solitude left the North Pole. The new villain had already been faced a thousand years earlier by a team consisting of Queen Hippolyta, Black Adam, Swamp Thing and Viking Prince. Then the victory was obtained at a high price with a secret which, kept until now, could be the key to victory.

The graphic part will be entrusted to numerous artists among which the names of the Italians Marco Santucci (Shazam !, Aquaman) who will draw the appendix stories that will link the various chapters and Carmine Di Giandomenico (The Flash, Batgirl) who will draw part of the one-shot Justice League: Endless Winter # 1.

The figure at the center of the event will be Black Adam while the feeling that Endless Winter serves to "buffer" some creative team changes on some of the publications involved. Teen Titans for example is officially closed, Aquaman still does not have a new creative team after the end of the management of Kelly Sue DeConnick as well as Justice League heavily involved in the events of Dark Nights: Death Metal.
