Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered, original saves don't work, upgrade impossible?
Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered will apparently not support saves of the original, meaning these cannot be transferred to the new remastered version announced for PS5 as this is treated as a real new game of its own.

We have seen the improvements that the original game will get in its new remastered version, but apparently Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered is treated as a whole as a real new game and apart from the original, motivation also adopted by the developers to explain the impossibility of importing the saves from the original to the new version.

Among the novelties there are also new trophies, which confirm the packaging of Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered as a real game part of the original Marvel's Spider-Man. This obviously represents excellent news regarding the work done on the changes since the initial game, but on the other hand it seems to confirm fears about the impossibility of having an upgrade from one version to another.

Not c 'is properly an official press release, but internal Sony sources already seem to have confirmed that Spider-Man Remastered for PS5 and PS4 will not be free for those who own the PS4 version and even this simple information on the impossibility of transferring saves seems to corroborate this information .

In fact, if the game is built to be a different title and aside from not recognizing the original saves, it seems clear that a free upgrade from the original to the new version is practically impossible. At this point we may be waiting for information on a possible stand-alone release at a reasonable price, for those who still want to experience the improved version of the game and already own the original.
