DC makes a large selection of comics available for free
The second day of the DC FanDome brought with it a precious gift: a selection of readable comics completely free. This is a selection of over 90 books in English, 49 in French, 28 in Spanish, 24 in Dutch, 27 in Portuguese, 18 in Japanese and 43 in Korean, unfortunately nothing in Italian.

Among the titles available the brand new graphic novel young adult Teen Titans: Raven by Kami Garcia but also classics like Superman: Red Son by Mark Millar and Dave Johnson and a selection of titles including Before Watchmen, Multiversity, Preacher, Kingdom Come, Dark Knight, Swamp Thing, Justice League, Doom Patrol, DC Bombshells, Arrow.

Among the titles stand out without a doubt the first volume of Icon, Milestone hero created by Dwayne McDuffie and MD Bright, the one-shot Milestone Returns Zero that anticipates the relaunch of the label starring black heroes.

Milestone Media

Milestone Media was founded in 1993 by a group of African American authors including Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis and Derek T. Dingle. These authors became spokespersons for the need to represent minorities in the comic medium, obviously specifically in the panorama of superhero comics, with particular attention to the black population. The best-known character of Milestone is certainly Static Shock also protagonist of an animated series that aired starting from 2000.
