Conan Exiles: Isle of Siptah, the tried

Gameplay Game mechanics Certainties and doubts Isle of Siptah is the natural evolution of the success of Conan Exiles, an expected consequence of which we have previewed the contents. After a multitude of more or less large DLCs, Funcom has decided to give players a real expansion, in order to rekindle the flame of lovers of survival and the narrative universe of Robert E. Howard, even if in reality it is. scenario of the expansion is inspired by the short story "The Jewel in the Tower" by L. Sprague de Camp and Lin Carter, part of the "Conan the Barbarian" collection, published in Italy by Mondadori in the early 1980s (currently available only on second-hand market).

Gameplay

In Isle of ttah the player plays the role of an exile on a mysterious island, named after a powerful sorcerer who dominates it unopposed, ruling it from its imposing black tower that rises in the center of the map. At first we find ourselves prisoners on a boat that is taking us to the place where we are to spend our exile. However, a storm ruins the plans of our jailers, giving us the much desired freedom, but also forcing us to deal with the dangers of Siptah. Shipwrecked, without allies and without resources, we will have to do what we have done for years in Conan Exiles: survive. In the meantime, we will also be able to dedicate ourselves to discovering the secrets of the island, hidden in its most inaccessible and apparently unreachable places.

As you have understood, Isle of Siptah is not a content that adds to the original campaign, but it is a completely new experience. Of course, the basic mechanics are the same as Conan Exiles, with which it shares a good part of the structure, including the lack of predetermined objectives.
