Chronos: Before the Ashes confirmed on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and Stadia

Chronos was originally an RPG exclusive to the Oculus Rift released in 2016. An update to the ESRB site, dated late 2019, had already alerted us to the arrival of the title on new platforms. Its porting out of virtual reality is now official.

Third-person RPG served by Gunfire Games, Chronos: Before the Ashes lets you play as a young man or woman in charge of solving a variety of puzzles and defeat a palette of enemies in a vast labyrinth. Each time the character fails, he is sent back into the game a year later to try his luck again, with less vigor, but more experience. The goal is to save your homeland from an ancient evil thanks to the power that lies dormant in the center of the labyrinth. A variety of weapons, abilities and powers are at your fingertips.

Published by THQ Nordic, the title turns out to be a prequel to Remnant: From the Ashes, released in August 2019. A production that placed you among a group of survivors exploring US cities overrun by nightmarish creatures. Chronos: Before the Ashes will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Stadia on December 1 for $ 29.99.
