Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster for Nintendo Switch and PS4 was announced with a trailer from Atlus during today's Nintendo Direct Mini, another major surprise within the event dedicated to the Nintendo console.

This is a remastered version, with high definition graphics, of the third chapter of the famous Atlus series, with a release date set for 29 October 2020 in Japan and for spring 2021 in the West, so in this case there is no it is the worldwide launch that has been announced for Shin Megami Tensei 5 on Nintendo Switch.

Another difference is that this will not be exclusive to the Nintendo console but will also be released on PS4, probably simultaneously with Nintendo Switch even if we await further clarifications regarding the launch in the West.

17 years have passed since the original release of Shin Megami Tensei III, known in the USA as Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, and now the legend p ost-apocalyptic returns with high definition graphics that leads to a complete remake of the classic game, coming in the spring of 2021.

This is what Atlus reports on the game in question, waiting to be able to see something more and also understand the extent of the remake work carried out, which according to what we can see concerns a profound reworking of the graphics but could also involve other aspects of the game.
