Realme X50 official in Italy: here is the cheap 5G smartphone
The difference in price compared to the older brother - which we reviewed a few weeks ago - finds justification in some differences and disclaimers that Realme had to do to contain costs. First of all the processor. On board we find Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G which however should ensure excellent performance. The display is a 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel with Full-HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate (a feature not easy to find in this price range).
Little originality in terms of design. On the back of Realme X50, we find a photographic module consisting of four sensors arranged vertically. The 48 Megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8) is paired with a wide angle (f / 2.3), a 2 Megapixel macro sensor (f / 2.4) and a last sensor for 2 Megapixel black and white portraits (f /2.4). Two front cameras (16 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel) inside an oval-shaped hole.
The biometric sensor is located on the right edge inside the power button. In addition to 5G support, connectivity also includes Dual SIM, NFC and Bluetooth 5.1 support. The 3.5mm audio jack is missing. Everything is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery with 30W fast charge support. The software platform is entrusted to Android 10 with Realme UI.
in Short, the technical data seem to promise well. We just have to see how it will behave in daily use. However, we can say that the 5G is becoming more “democratic” and to make that seem to be just the chinese brands that make the quality/price ratio to be one of their strengths.
