Magic Arena welcomes Jumpstart mode, an accessible and quick to play format
Wizards of the Coast offers a new way to play Magic The Gathering, without having to prepare a deck, with the Jumpstart format. While waiting for its physical release "later this year", it is already possible to try it in the free-to-play Magic Arena thanks to a limited event available until August 16.

The concept of Jumpstart is simple: players choose two themed decks (Spirits, Elves, Minotaurs ...) of twenty cards and combine them to create the deck with which they will play. In other words, a minimum of preparation, and numerous possibilities since a total of 46 themes are proposed for more than 500 cards, including 37 new ones (the complete list here). Note that you will keep the cards from your deck in your collection, and that it is also possible to craft Jumpstart cards (except basic lands) using wild cards. You will also get a rare Jumpstart card reward for each of your first two victories, knowing that you can give up at any time to re-register, build a new deck and get the rewards once again.

The registration fee for the Jumpstart event is 2000 coins or 400 gems. As a reminder, Magic Arena can be downloaded for free ona> PC and Mac via its official website or the Epic Games Store.
