System Shock: A gameplay video shows cyberspace
Nightdive Studios has released a new gameplay video of the System Shock remake. This video focuses on all the news that will be in the game's cyberspace. One of the aspects that - perhaps - shows the most over the years. In fact, in 1994, Tron's influence was still very strong both in themes and aesthetics. For this reason, the 1994 classic was all grids and neon colors.

In this remake, however, some things will be different. The movie, taken from the alpha version of the game, shows a sequence in which the game is transformed into a sort of Descent clone in which a sort of fully explorable 3D virtual maze must be moved. The neon grids are still present, but the whole has a more modern aspect which, thanks to the music, also reminds a little of Rez.

In these phases, in fact, it will be necessary to shoot enemies and structures to get way into the labyrinth and escape unscathed from this virtual space. These are therefore rather original sections, visually remarkable, which we hope will be an added value for the production.

At the moment the remake of System Shock does not have a date yet, but judging by the video the works seem to be good point. There is even a demo on Steam. What do you think?
