Marvel's Avengers: the prices of microtransactions are free-to-play
With the release of Marvel's Avengers in Australia and other territories, prices for microtransactions have also emerged, which are in line with those of free-to-play mobile games and other game services.

The game currency is simply called Credits and can be purchased in various denominations. From the in-game shop you can buy 500, 2,000 (+200 bonus), 5,000 (+1,500 bonus) and 10,000 (+ 3,000 bonus) credits. Prices range from $ 5 to $ 100.

The items for sale are all cosmetic in nature, be it new super hero clothing, emotes and more. As for example in Fortnite, items have a different cost depending on their rarity and will rotate on a regular basis.

In addition to cosmetic items, Marvel's Avengers allows you to purchase classic Battle Passes, linked to each character's Hero Challenge Cards. Each card has 40 tiers of free and paid rewards and costs 1,000 credits (so around € 10).

Marvel's Avengers will be released in the rest of the world on September 4, 2020 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are planned for the following weeks, probably along with the next generation consoles.
