Late yesterday, Deadline confirmed that Amazon Studios has found the protagonist for its TV adaptation of Jack Reacher. This is Alan Ritchson, who plays the hero Hawk (Hank Hall) in the Titans series; Ritchson will therefore be Jack Reacher protagonist of the Lee Child series of novels of which Amazon Studios acquired the rights last July.

The series was developed by Nick Santora (Scorpion, Prison Break) who will also be showrunner , executive producer along with Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible) and screenwriter of the first season who should adapt, at least according to what has been leaked, the first novel of the series entitled Killing Floor (Dangerous Zone in the Italian version).

From the novels Lee Child also made two films titled respectively Jack Reacher - The Decisive Test (2012) and Jack Reacher - The Point of No Return (2016) starring Tom Cruise.



Who is Jack Reacher?

Jack Reacher joins the US army at a very young age, joins the military police and reaches the rank of major. War hero in the Middle East, highly decorated, skilled marksman with a powerful physique, he left the army at 36 to devote himself to a life as a wanderer in the United States.
