The Mandalorian - no delay for Season 2
Favreau has confirmed that The Mandalorian 2 is currently in post-production phase and its debut is expected next October on Disney + as originally intended.
By attending a meeting with the directors of the series Dave Filoni, Deborah Chow, Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard and Rick Famuyiwa, Jon Favreau reassured the fans by saying that all the main photography for the Season 2> of The Mandalorian had been completed before the lockdown and that thanks to the technology made available by Lucasfilm and Industry Light & Magic it was possible to work from home to post-production without a hitch.
The cast of Season 2 of The Mandalorian has already registered some important entries: Temuera Morrison will play the role of an unspecified Fett, Katee Sackhoff will play Bo-Katan Kryze and Rosario Dawson will be Ahsoka Tano. Finally Timothy Olyphant joined the cast of the series in an unspecified role.
