Fortnite: will Atlantis be the new setting for the game?

Over time, Fortnite, Epic Games' famous Battle Royale, has gifted a myriad of content to its users. Apparently, however, it did not end there. New clues are circulating about the upcoming content that will enrich the game, in addition to the film series of director Christopher Nolan that gamers will be able to see, depending on the country in which they are located. So, from the content point of view, the wishes of the gamers have been fulfilled.

Now the map has been expanded and even sharks have been added. But there is a report that is particularly intriguing to Fortnite users. We are talking about an event that, in all likelihood, is related to the city of Atlantis and Aquaman, the main character of Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 3.

More specifically, we know that the dataminers have recently put the hands on several interesting files and in some of them the name "Atlantis" appeared. Hypex has even extracted audio files that clearly refer to this new possible location for the famous Epic Games Battle Royale. However, we still don't know how references to the lost city of Atlantis will be placed on Fortnite. Although this new island does not yet exist, we do not rule out that, probably, the developers could decide to bring out the city of Atlantis from the areas that are currently still submerged in water. This hypothesis seems to be even more probable, considering that, soon, the water level will begin to fall, in order to be able to use the machines within the game.

At the moment we do not know if this event will be part of Chapter 2 of Season 3 of Fortnite, which is currently in progress. According to some, it might even be part of Season 4 . We will know something more in the coming days and we will be able to confirm if Atlantis, the home of Aquaman, it may really become a new location in the future.
